8 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari Tour

 

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda at Entebbe aiport - Transfer to Hotel for Dinner /Rest. (10Min)
Day 2: Pick up from hotel address in Kampala/Entebbe - drive to Bwindi Park. (9 Hrs)
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking experience & Evening community walk .
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Game park - via Ishasha tree climbing lions sector.
Day 5: Morning Game Drive view safari & Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Primate world - Evening visit Bigodi wetland for bird watching(5 Hrs)
Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking experience - Afternoon do community walk
Day 8: Drive from Kibale Park back -to- Kampala/Entebbe airport. (7 Hrs)

 

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport - meet and greet our company driver / hotel driver - transfer to Hotel address. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the booked hotel. Meals inclusive.

 

Day 2: Pick up from a hotel in Kampala OR hotel address in Entebbe near the airport, And drive to Bwindi.

Meet and greet our company represetative at the hotel address after having your breakfast and head to the biologically diverse and unique magnificent green impenetrable rainforest in southwestern Uganda, which sustains almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. You will have a stopover in Kayabwe for photographs at the Uganda equator and souvenir shopping accompanied with an enroute lunch in Mbarara town. Proceed to bwindi, the home of gorillas in Uganda. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the booked safari lodge.

 

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest. After an early breakfast and briefing at the headquators in the bwindi park, set off for the mountain gorilla tracking inside the Bwindi forest. You need to carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas. After tracking, come back to the lodge and relax. Should you have the energy this afternoon, go for a village walk and see how Ugandans live in ther community homestead. Or Visit lake Bunyonyi to relax on a boat ride.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth park via ishasha sector common for tree climbing lions game driveAnd Elephants You will wake up and have morning breakfast, then drive towards Queen Elizabeth game park. Take a chance to visit the Ishasha sector, you may have a chance to see tree climbing lions and elephants. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge.

Day 5: Morning game drive - Afternoon Boat cruise Early in the morning set off for the morning game drive in the Northern crater area where there is a lot of dark holes called the black craters with no water. You may be able to see a lot of animal species such as the Elephants, lions, buffaloes, Leopards, monkeys such as the black and white colobus, vervet, patus, red-tailed and the blue monkeys. Other animals that can be seen are the bush pigs and the warthogs, antelopes. This side of the park provides a good view of numerous craters. The activity takes 3-4 hour. Return for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon go Later after lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise on Kaziga channel. This is very rewarding with the aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos and many bird species like black bee carmine bee eaters and black bee eaters, Lesser Swamp-Warbler, Striated Heron among others.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale - home of primate chimpanzee, Baboons, Monkeys and much more. After a healthy breakfast, you will be transfered to Kibale forest National Park, the capital world of primates. Such as chimpanzee, baboons and monkeys, with en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight.

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking experience- evening visit local communities at Bigodi village.

The park’s site guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with enormous encounters of various forest primates like the L’hoest, black faced colobus monkeys, baboons and other forest species.

Day 8: Return back to your Hotel in Kampala / drop off at Entebbe airport.

After breakfast, get on board And proceed to Kampala reaching the capital late afternoon drop off at the hotel addres / Entebbe airport for your departure.
