The 15-Day Uganda Safari and Adventure Holiday offers a captivating experience of Uganda’s stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. You will encounter various species in their natural habitats, including African elephants, Cape buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, lions, sitatungas, mongooses, spotted hyenas, jackals, civet cats, and a variety of bird species such as the grey crowned crane, black-headed lapwing, weavers, shoebill, and marabou stork. Your safari will begin with a drive to Murchison Falls National Park, including a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Next, you will head to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Afterward, you will track the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. From there, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to trek the majestic mountain gorillas and silverback gorillas of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
After this incredible wildlife adventure, you can relax at Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Uganda, before heading to Lake Mburo National Park for more exciting encounters. Your 15-day journey will conclude with a visit to Jinja, the Nile City, where you can enjoy white water rafting and explore the wonders of the Nile.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja – Source of the river Nile
Pick up from your hotel or the airport upon arrival, and drive to Jinja. En route, you will visit the Mabira Forest – Uganda’s largest ecosystem home to several primates like grey-checked monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys and can take part in zip lining, you will visit the Sezibwa waterfalls and continue to Jinja town. Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Zziwa Rhino sanctuary
Pickup from your hotel after breakfast, and drive north west of Uganda to Murchison falls national park. En route visit the Zziwa rhino sanctuary to track white rhinos. Have lunch and continue to murchison falls national park.

Today you will wake up easy and be off early with packed breakfast and drive to the park to start your game drive with a ranger from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The rangers know all the spots with wildlife, you will see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, variety of savannah birds and so much more. Have lunch after which head out for a river Nile sunset Launch cruise. Expect to view crocodiles, herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos, lizards, lots of birds. Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking – Visit Bigodi Sanctuary
Have breakfast at your hotel and be ready to transfer to Kibale park head offices for briefing before you start chimpanzee tracking. Tracking for chimpanzees takes about 3 – 4 hours and will come across other primates like white and black Colobus monkeys, olive baboons, red Colobus, grey checked mangabey in the forest. After the tracking chimps, return back to your hotel and be ready to drive 2 hours to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Have lunch after which head out to the Kazinga channel for a 2 hour sunset Launch cruise along the the Kazinga channel. Today you will wake up easy and be off early with packed breakfast and drive to the park to start your game drive in the Kasenyi region of queen Elizabeth national park. This is your chance to view numerous early riser wildlife before they return to their hide places as the sun comes comes out. Expect to view lions, elephants, buffaloes, numerous Uganda kobs and so much more. and after you will be transfering to Ishasha Sector.

Day 11: Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Batwa Pygmies / Canoeing
After a comprehensive briefing overview from one of the head guides about what to expect during your gorilla trekking adventure, you will split into groups of 8 people for which gorilla family you will be tracking. If you need a simple hike, inform your guide before the briefing so that he helps speak to the trackers to select for you a simple hike. The trackers have an idea of how far each group is as their colleagues go into the forest earlier to establish actual locations of the gorilla groups. Do hire a porter, even if you feel fit enough not to need a hand up having someone else to carry your backpack makes it so much easier as you hike.
Return to your hotel for lunch and an afternoon rest, and late evening head out to visit the Batwa pygmies communities which are just neighboring the park. These where the former forest inhabitants who where led out of the forest in order to conserve mountain gorillas and their habitant. You will have a chance to interact with them and learn about their cultures.
