This 4 Days Murchison Falls: Fishing and Big Five Safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda which is the country’s biggest national park and will combine a fishing safari with Rhino tracking and a wildlife game drive safari.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Via Rhino Tracking
Today after early breakfast, your professional safari driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park, with en route rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After tracking, you will have lunch and after lunch, you will proceed to the parking arriving in time for dinner and overnight
Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Sport Fishing – Boat Safari
Today, you will wake early, and have breakfast and after breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive to look out for the early risers that include lions, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, and hyenas among others. After the mini wildlife game drive, you will go fishing from the rocks around several pools below the mighty Murchison Falls.
In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a boat safari on the Nile River which takes you to the bottom of the thundering powerful Murchison Falls. During the boat safari, expect to see schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a variety of birds such as cormorants, bee-eaters, fish eagles, kingfishers, and herons among others
Day 3: Sport Fishing
Today after breakfast, you will go for another sport fishing activity on River Nile waters. The methods used for fishing here are catch and release and the commonly caught fish is the huge Nile perch. After fishing, you can go for another game drive to search for wildlife animals that lions, leopards, giraffes, antelopes, elephants, and many warthogs.
Day 4: Transfer Back to Kampala or Entebbe
Today after breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the afternoon. Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive, let us know if we should book it for you
